Rouge des Flandres

Rouge des Flandres

Deep in cellars around the world, beers are sometimes left in oak barrels because they are too far to be emptied. Prolonged exposure to wild yeasts, to the air and to the wooden barrels gives the product more acidic, dry and fruity flavours that make these rare beers treasured by many. Our interpretation of these events creates a Flanders Red type of beer: dark ruby colour with acidic flavours of red berries reminiscent of a good sweet wine. A pleasure to discover.
