Inspired by the brewing traditions of European farms, American brewers have developed a beer with a slightly wild taste that balances farmhouse flavours with a fruity hoppyness.
Yeast is the catalyst in the beer brewing process. Some yeasts are more neutral, while others create astonishing flavours. The farmhouse yeast we use for our Farmhouse Pale Ale is rather particular and produces complex flavours. Allowing the yeast to express every bit of its splendour and adding Oceanians and American hops has resulted in a dry beer that features aromas of flowers, citrus, hay and tropical fruit. It’s refreshing and delicious at the same time.
